The Baileys Horse Feeds/British Breeding Futurity and the former Young Horse Evaluations became one series in 2007, forming a consistent evaluation pathway for sport horses and ponies from foals to six years.
Participating means that:
- Your horse gets used to being evaluated
- You have experts' opinions early so that you can decide on the best way forward for your horse
- You can use Futurity results to promote your stud and/or breeding programme
- Futurity horses which are sold can command higher prices
- Futurity horses are scrutinised as potential Equine Pathway horses
