Lead Co-ordinator for sustaining Participation

Before joining the BEF as Regional co-ordinatior for the North East and Yorkshire, Emma had been a professional athlete in both Gymnastics and Showjumping, as well as managing a successful career in the sports industry.  Emma was a key player in  helping the Olympic disciplines come together and form the Regional Foundation Squads, the first cross-discipline project of its kind within the BEF Member Bodies.  This has gone on to produce a pool of up and coming talented riders for the Olympic discipline in 5 regions of England.  Emma is still very active on the Show jumping scene competing, breeding, training and coaching, making her ideally placed to advise the BEF on how to improve the standards and help sustain participation in equestrian sports
