Child Protection & Duty of Care

The BEF fully accepts its legal (Children's Act 1989) and moral obligation to provide a duty of care, to protect all children (and vulnerable adults) and safeguard their welfare, irrespective of age, any disability they have, gender, racial origin, religious belief and sexual identity.

See the child protection policy in Annex B of the BEF Rules, entitled 'working with children and their protection'.

Download the BEF Child Protection Policy and Duty of Care Guidelines. You can purchase copies of these guidelines from the British Horse Society.
