Drug Free Sport

Doping control for riders is more important than ever before, with the arrival of the World Anti Doping Agency code and much higher levels of punishment for those who break the rules. The BEF has expanded its work in education and will continue in this while ensuring our rules are robust and sensitive, ensuring adequate arrangements are in hand to manage appeals.

Equestrian: The FEI is responsible for medical issues concerning FEI human competitors, and for horse anti-doping regulations.  For further information on human doping rules see the BEF Rule Book and the FEI website. The equine anti-doping rules were updated on 1 June 2006 - see the horse health page for information
