Lead Body Launches for Performance Sport Horses and Ponies

The Strategy for the Horse Industry in England and Wales calls for the introduction of Lead Bodies to "assist in the improvement of our horses and ponies". A Lead Body has been identified for each sector of the industry and the organisation facilitating the Lead Body process for the sport horse and pony sector is the BEF's British Breeding.

The new organisation for this sector will be called the Lead Body for Performance Sport Horses and Ponies (PSHP) and will soon be inviting members to join in support of its aims to work collectively with stud books, competition disciplines and other relevant non studbook organisations to offer inspired direction in the development of the British breeding industry.
