Opportunities for sponsors

More people, more horses, more places, more medals
 - one vision, be a part of it....

The BETA National Equestrian Survey 2006 says that:

  • Horse owners and riders spend around £4 billion per year
  • There are 1.35 million horses in Britain
  • They are owned or cared for by 720,000 people, or 1.2% of the UK population
  • 4.3 million people have ridden in the last year

A high profile

A team sponsor would have a high profile at a range of prestigious events in the UK and around the world, as well as close involvement with members of the British team.

Attendance figures are high, for example 60,000 people were at the European Eventing Championships at Blenheim in 2005, Burghley and Badminton attract an audience of over 150,000, while Hickstead, Olympia and the Horse of the Year Show are invariably full houses.

Many equestrian events take place at stately homes where sponsors could entertain guests in some of the most beautiful surroundings in Britain, and abroad, in a unique atmosphere.

Media coverage
TV and press coverage of major equestrian events is growing and viewing figures are increasing. More than 1.6 million people watched the 2005 Blenheim Horse Trials on television, in addition to those who watched and reviewed results on the internet.

Title sponsorship rights
These might include branding on horse and rider competition wear and training wear - subject to international rules - use of the Team GBR logo, tickets and hospitality, and potential sponsorship of the top riders.
