Club, Coach and Participation Development

In 2007, following a successful application for funding to Sport England, the BEF made a development to the overall approach to Coaching and Participation:

• In September 2007 the BEF appointed a full-time Head of Regional Development, Maggie Still, to oversee implementation of the new BEF Club, Coach and Participation Plan.
• This plan is designed to work in parallel with the overall BEF Unified Coaching Plan.
• This work is partner funded by Sport England, though co-ordination across the Home Countries is an important aspect of the role.
