UK Sport
UK Sport is of course a major financial contributor through the Lottery funded World Class Programme, not only to support the development programmes but also to support the teams. As I am sure you are aware the Performance programme pays the expenses of the Olympic / Paralympic Senior teams almost in their entirety (less for what the disciplines contribute to looking after some of the owners). They also contribute, through the Start and Potential programme, significant funds towards the Pony, Junior and Young Rider teams in the Olympic disciplines.
Merial Animal Health
Merial Animal Health Ltd manufacture and distribute a range of animal health products (including GastroGard, Eqvalan/Eqvalan Duo, ProteqFlu). The agreement includes cash, product supply and technical support. The product is GastroGard and the technical support includes utilising the Gastroscope; both linked to identifying and treating stomach ulcers.
Toggi
Toggi, part of Finest Brands International, supply the Team GBR casual clothing. There is a Team GBR range of clothing on sale to the public, stockists can be viewed on the Toggi website. Team GBR enjoy a royalty on clothing sold.
Spillers (Effem Equine)
Spillers have supported the British Equestrian Team for 26 years now. Their support is financial, product supply and time for education. They will, for example, be organising all the movement of feed and forage to Hong Kong in 2008. Under their contract they will also supply each team with sufficient quantities of Spillers Horse Feed, including Equivite, at designated events.
NAF
NAF have supported the Equestrian Teams since 1997, covering two Olympic Games thus far. NAF's support is financial, product supply and education. Outside of this, NAF offer discounts to all World Class Performance Plan riders, up to 10 elite riders from the non-Olympic disciplines, and World Class Start and Potential riders.
Mears Country Jackets
Mears generously provides riding coats for the senior teams at the Olympics and World Equestrian Games.
Patey Hats
Official suppliers of riding hats to the senior eventing and dressage teams, Patey supply new top hats and hunting caps or refurbish old ones.
Thermatex
Suppliers of horse rugs to Team GBR at the World Equestrian Games and the World Paralympic Dressage Championships in 2007 at Hartpury. They also sell team branded dog rugs, from which part of the profits go towards supporting Team GBR.
KC Equestrian
Supply Rodney Powell Body Protectors to the Eventing Team.
The Gatehouse Range
Supply hat silks to the Eventing Team.
