The British Equestrian Federation is made up of a dedicated team of staff who work together to uphold the vision and mission of the company, More People – Better Places – Better Horses – More Medals. Here you can find out more information on those people, including our Department Heads and Non-Executive Directors, and read a brief summary of their main roles and responsibilities to help you get in contact with the correct department or member of staff.

Safeguarding Officer:

Helen Brown

Helen is the main contact for all areas of equestrian safeguarding. She works with member bodies to share safeguarding best-practice from across the industry, as well as providing them with access to specialist advice and assistance when they need it.

Keith Oddy

After spending 30 years as a police officer dealing predominantly with child protection cases, Keith now provides advice and investigative services to a number of National Governing Bodies for Sport, including chairing Case Management Groups.
